For Devereux we made a walk in dressing room with full height cream wardrobes along both walls, a dressing island with a white veined top, and a dressing table with open shelves above.

Walk in dressing room
Wardrobes Along Both Walls
Devereux is a long, narrow walk in dressing room, and we lined both sides of it with full height wardrobes painted in cream. The wardrobes rise to the cornice, so the cabinetry fills the walls from floor to ceiling. Each door has three panels: a tall textured panel at the top, a band of reeding at hand height and a smaller textured panel below. Long matt black bar handles are fixed to the reeded band, so every handle sits at the same height along the room.
A dressing island stands at the centre of the room, with deep drawers on black bar handles beneath a white veined top. At one end, a dressing table has three drawers and a white veined top, with a mirror set into the recess above it and open shelves above the mirror, backed with the same reeding as the wardrobe doors.
Because the wardrobes run the full length of both walls, the room holds a great deal behind closed doors, while the cream finish keeps it light. Every piece was made to measure in our workshop near Horsham and fitted by our own team, with all painting and finishing completed in the workshop before installation. Wardrobes

A dressing table with three drawers and a white veined top sits at one end of the room, with a mirror set into the recess above it. Open shelves above the mirror are backed with the same reeding as the wardrobe doors.

Yes. Devereux is a long, narrow room, and we lined both sides with full height wardrobes, leaving space for a dressing island down the middle. Because every piece is made to measure, the wardrobes, island and dressing table are sized to the room. At the first consultation we take initial measurements and talk about what the room needs to hold.

Reeding is a series of narrow, rounded ribs running side by side. On the Devereux wardrobes a band of reeding runs across each door at hand height, between two textured panels, and the long black bar handles are fixed to it. The reeding is painted cream with the rest of the door, and all painting and finishing is completed in our workshop before installation.

Yes. As well as wardrobes, we make dressing tables, dressing islands and open shelving, designed together so that they share one finish. The Devereux dressing room has a central island with deep drawers and a white veined top, and a dressing table with three drawers, a mirror set into the recess above it and open shelves.
