The Kitchen at Mayfield
At Mayfield we made a kitchen with charcoal base cupboards and antiqued brass cup handles, a larder lined in natural wood with racks on its doors, and a pale grey dresser with glazed cabinets and a wine cooler.

Kitchen, larder and dresser
Charcoal Cabinetry and Natural Wood
At Mayfield the base cupboards and drawers are painted charcoal, in frame with a beaded edge, and fitted with antiqued brass cup handles and small knobs. The cupboards stand on a shaped plinth. A pale speckled worktop and upstand run above them, with a dark grey undermount sink beneath the window and drainer grooves cut into the worktop beside it. A natural wood shelf on black brackets is fixed to the wall above the worktop.
The drawers open on natural wood interiors, with cutlery dividers in one. A larder cupboard is lined in natural wood throughout, with racks for spices and bottles on the inside of its doors, shelves above a pale worktop and drawers with cup handles below. Elsewhere, a dresser painted in a pale grey has glazed wall cabinets with glass shelves, a built in wine cooler and panelled cupboards with brass knobs.
Every piece was designed for the room, handmade in our workshop near Horsham and fitted by our own team, with all painting and finishing completed in the workshop before installation. All painting and finishing is completed in our workshop before installation, and at the design stage we give guidance on colours, finishes and handles.

A larder keeps everyday food in one place close to where it is prepared, and each one we make is fitted out to suit the kitchen it belongs to.

Yes. At Mayfield a dark grey undermount sink sits beneath the window, with drainer grooves cut into the pale worktop beside it, so no separate drainer is needed. Worktops, sinks and taps are chosen with you at the design stage, and we liaise with the specialist contractors and other trades who fit and connect them.
