How It Works
Six Stages, One Team
A clear process with a price range agreed at the very start, so you always know what happens next and what it will cost.
Consultation
We meet you at home, offering inspiration, advice and guidance as you explore what is possible. We learn how you live and how you will use the space, and take initial measurements.
Scheduling
We agree timescales together and plan our production schedule around your wider project and the other trades. Costings, a payment schedule and deposits are agreed at this stage.
Design
Every component is carefully considered and tailored to you. We produce technical drawings that unite beauty and function, and guide you through materials, finishes and appliances.
Manufacture
Your kitchen is handmade to your exact specification in our workshop near Horsham, with all finishing completed before installation and the schedule managed to the agreed dates.
Installation
We usually need a three week window on site to install a Sylvan kitchen to our standards. We liaise with the other trades, organise specialist contractors and make sure you are happy.
Aftercare
Once you have settled into your new space we come back to check you are completely happy and make any small adjustments. Every Sylvan kitchen comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Pricing and Payment
A narrow price range is agreed early, at the consultation stage, so you have peace of mind around your budget. Once the drawings are complete and the materials, finishes and appliances are chosen, a final price is confirmed. A deposit secures your manufacturing slot, and the cost is then spread in stages linked to the process, so you are always in control of your project.

Every Sylvan kitchen is designed with you and handmade by our own cabinet makers in our workshop at Stonehouse Farm, Plummers Plain, near Horsham in West Sussex. All painting and finishing is completed in the workshop before the kitchen is delivered and fitted by our own team.

We are based in Horsham and work most often in Horsham, Dorking, Cranleigh, Guildford, Oxted and Reigate. We also design, make and fit kitchens and furniture for homes throughout Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London.
